One of the core fundamental designs of AssistReach is its “person-centric” approach. The key vision behind person-centric is designing the services around the person’s needs – it sounds simple enough but this viewpoint is more flexible than a model where there’s a one-size-fits-all approach to handling cases. The change to person-centric has been driven by a maturation of public expectations of Ministries of Foreign Affairs. As such, data is organized so that cases, persons, services and associated relationships can be accessed from multiple access points within the application and database.
With this person-centric approach, AssistReach provides Ministries of Foreign Affairs with a 360 degree client view, which enables them to see data as it pertains to four separate views.
Person View:
Information about persons, including all services rendered to individual along with all instances of the individual in various cases from a lost passport to a mass evacuation during a crisis can be accessed.
Services View:
Services can be grouped into a case view or allow for an analysis of all services provided across cases or for a mission/country/region. For instance, a transportation accident can require medical assistance, issuance of new travel documents and temporary financial assistance.
Relationships View:
Relationships between persons can be shown for instance between affected persons and callers, traveling tour groups or family members.
Case View:
A view that displays the case information including: case notes, services provided, people involved, tasks, contacts, media notes and overview.
