Qualifications that will make you stand out:

• Must be bilingual (English & French)
• 10 years progressive experience in software development roles with a minimum of 5 years experience in management/supervisory roles.
• Experience in establishing software design, development and testing environments and processes. Minimum 2 years experience with designing/developing web based applications.
• Software development team leadership/project management experience with teams of 8 or more staff and for fixed price/budget projects of $1M or more (under your direct responsibility).
• Minimum of 3 years experience with automated testing tools or software source code/configuration management tools is required.
• Deep understanding of quality assurance and testing strategies, tools, methods is required.
• Minimum of 3 years direct experience in project planning and management. Experience with Microsoft Project is considered an asset.
• Thorough knowledge of software design and development practices, languages and techniques.  Five years experience in Open Standards, SOA/open source development environment as a designer/analyst or development team leader. A minimum of 2 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Experience with Microsoft .NET and/or Microsoft SharePoint will be considered an asset.
• Experience with multi-site development teams is highly desirable.
• Experience with international customers is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a software product company in a management role is an asset.
• Distributed systems/database design or operational experience is an asset.
• Occasional international travel may be required for short periods.
• University degree in relevant IT field.
